Patience, endurance, tolerance

I need to wait longer · I am frustrated with the pace · I need to endure this

BG 2.14Bhagavad Gītā

mātrāsparśāstu kaunteya śītoṣṇasukhaduḥkhadāḥ .

Why this verse: O son of Kunti, the nonpermanent appearance of happiness and distress, and their disappearance in due course, are like the appearance and disappearance of winter and summer seasons. They arise from sense perception, and one must learn to tolerate them.

BG 12.19Bhagavad Gītā

tulyanindāstutirmaunī santuṣṭo yena kenacit .

Why this verse: One who is equal to friends and enemies, who is equipoised in honor and dishonor, heat and cold, happiness and distress, fame and infamy — he is dear to Me.
