कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन |

karmaṇyevādhikāraste mā phaleṣu kadācana .

2.47 Thy right is to work only, but never with its fruits; let not the fruits of action be thy motive, nor let thy attachment be to inaction.

Why this verse: You have the right to action, never to its fruits. Let not the results of action be your motive — this dissolves performance anxiety at its root.

BG 2.38Bhagavad Gītā

सुखदुःखे समे कृत्वा लाभालाभौ जयाजयौ |

sukhaduḥkhe same kṛtvā lābhālābhau jayājayau .

2.38 Having made pleasure and pain, gain and loss, victory and defeat the same, engage thou in battle for the sake of battle; thus thou shalt not incur sin.

Why this verse: Treat alike pleasure and pain, gain and loss, victory and defeat, and engage in the battle. This is the yoga of equanimity in the face of risk.
