अज्ञश्चाश्रद्दधानश्च संशयात्मा विनश्यति |

ajñaścāśraddadhānaśca saṃśayātmā vinaśyati .

4.40 The ignorant the faithless, the doubting self goes to destruction; there is neither this world nor the other, nor happiness for the doubting.

Why this verse: One who is doubtful has no happiness in this world or the next. Doubt is a binding chain; decisive knowledge is liberation.

BG 18.66Bhagavad Gītā

सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज |

sarvadharmānparityajya māmekaṃ śaraṇaṃ vraja .

18.66 Abandoning all duties, take refuge in Me alone: I will liberate thee from all sins; grieve not.

Why this verse: Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear. — the ultimate antidote to doubt.
